How do you use internet networking if you have a job and just want to see what is out there, but don’t want to risk your job?

The first rule of networking is – feed your network before you ask it to feed you.
The great part about getting into internet networking before you’re really looking for something is that you can invest in developing your network. Â Of course, you can keep you’re eyes and ears open at the same time.
I don’t see any threat in that, do you?
